A CrushOn AI alternative is worth opening only for the part of CrushOn you have outgrown: finding characters, the message cap, memory, pictures, or the price ladder. CrushOn is a character-chat site. Replacing it with a single-companion app fixes media and loses the catalog. Replacing it with another catalog fixes discovery and may keep the same cap problem.

CrushOn's own public pages do not agree, so this guide does not print one price as fact. A CrushOn wiki page describes a free plan of 100 messages a month, up to 8K memory, up to 10 profile cards, no group chat, and memory deleted after 7 days of inactivity. Paid tiers on that page raise the message count and the memory ceiling, and they add group chat. The marketing homepage describes unlimited chats on free models, a monthly credit allotment for other models, and paid plans that start around $5.99 and run up to a top tier near $199.99, with memory figures that do not match the wiki. Read the subscribe screen on your account. The comparison below uses the job, not those conflicting numbers.

Character discovery

CrushOn is a library plus a creator. If that is why you stayed, the in-catalog match is GPT Girlfriend: community characters, your own bots, and adult chat. You give up whatever model and memory controls CrushOn is currently advertising. You get image generation in the same account, metered by credits. The terms say a free account is short, with an example of a couple of characters and a small total message count, then paid credits that reset each month and do not roll over.

OurDream also has a large roleplay surface, and its pages push the creator: style, personality, voice, and a long backstory. Use it when you would rather build the character than browse. It is a weaker replacement if your habit is opening a new public bot every night.

Candy AI, Secret Desires AI, and SweetDream AI are the wrong fix for discovery. They are companion builders. GoLove AI has a roster, and the homepage says you do not design that roster yourself yet.

Chat limits and memory

Leave CrushOn for limits only if the next product publishes a limit you prefer. Right now CrushOn's wiki and homepage describe different free allowances, so "unlimited" may already be true on one of its modes and false on another.

GPT Girlfriend is honest in its terms about a hard stop on the free tier. That can be worse than CrushOn if your wiki screenshot is outdated and CrushOn's free models are in fact unlimited. Compare the two counters in the same evening before you move a long story.

OurDream's public text describes ongoing chat on a subscription, not a 100-message wiki cap. It listed $19.99 a month or $9.99 a month billed yearly at $119.88. Memory is described as a system that carries details across chats. That is not the same as a published 8K or 16K context number, and it was not measured.

Candy AI keeps one companion's history as the product. It does not hand you a context slider. If CrushOn forgetting a plot point is the bug, test one specific fact after you close the tab. Do not take "memory" on a homepage as a fix.

Group chat is on CrushOn's paid wiki tiers. It was not documented for Candy AI, Secret Desires AI, or SweetDream AI on the pages used here. Do not switch for group scenes unless the new product shows that mode.

Media and price

CrushOn's marketing is chat-first. Reviews disagree about whether you can generate a new image inside the thread. This guide does not settle that. If pictures are the reason you are leaving, pick a product that states them:

  • Candy AI: companion images and video, with media often billed apart from text. Outside writeups disagree on the dollar price, so it is omitted here.
  • SweetDream AI: image and video modes, video described as premium.
  • OurDream: images and video, spent in dreamcoins on top of the subscription it listed.
  • Secret Desires AI: images and a gallery. Video was not clear.
  • GPT Girlfriend: image generation. Voice is advertised. Video was not clearly a studio feature.
  • GoLove AI: homepage claims photos and voice on a free chat, with heavier images on premium. Unverified beyond that page.

Voice is a separate line on several of these products. Confirm notes versus calls, and whether each one spends credits.

If the bill is the only complaint, write down what CrushOn charged you last month, including credits, and put the replacement's checkout next to it. OurDream is the only one in this set with a single public price pair stable enough to quote, and even that should be rechecked. A lower headline that adds image coins can cost more than CrushOn's mid tier.
